Spend an afternoon at the library playing some Nintendo Switch games in a relaxed, welcoming space designed for gamers of all levels.

Grades 5 and up.

Insect hotels provide a habitat for insects to rest, lay eggs and stay safe from predators. Bug houses may also help control pest insects by attracting more beneficial ones.

Tara returns with this popular program for ages 2-5 with their adult on the second Tuesday morning of each month!

Sustainable Westchester will teach us how to take simple, D.I.Y actions to reduce energy waste and lower costs with LED light bulbs, weatherstripping, door sweeps, power strips, window insulation, foam tape, and foam outlet and switch gaskets.

Each Tuesday the program will alternate between Mandarin conversation and instruction led by Luis Deng. Learn to recognize 500 of the most commonly used Chinese characters. 

A basic knowledge of Chinese is required.

Join the Garden Jr. 's annual winter sowing workshop. We will learn how to plant native flower seeds in containers outside. Each child will plant seeds for their home garden and our library pollinator garden.

Ask at the Circulation desk for a copy of the book we are holding for Short Stack. Books will be available 3 weeks before the group meets.
