Drop off your gently used books, puzzles, dvds, cds, and video games for the Annual Friends of the Chappaqua Library Book Sale. Volunteers will be waiting by the theater entrance to accept your donations.

No all ages storytimes this week because of our Annual Booksale, but we will put out some art supplies in our program room for kids and their adults from 9:30 until 12:00.

For ages birth-5 with their adult.

The Buildings and Grounds Committee meets monthly to discuss matters related to the maintenance, safety, and improvement of the Library’s physical facilities and surrounding grounds.

Each Tuesday the program will alternate between Mandarin conversation and instruction led by Luis Deng. Learn to recognize 500 of the most commonly used Chinese characters. 

A basic knowledge of Chinese is required.

The preview sale gives early access to members of the Friends of the Chappaqua Library.

Join Short Stack, a book club for readers who want big ideas in bite-sized books under 200 pages. 

Books for Short Stack will be available at the circulation desk 3 weeks before the group meets. 

Special storytime for just 2 and 3 year-olds with their adult! (Please check our schedule for other storytimes available for children younger or older than 2 or 3).

A graphic novel discussion group for 4th, 5th and 6th graders: read the book at home, then talk about it together, with snacks.
