We read young adult fiction novels such as: Wonder by R. J. Palacio and Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea.

Join us for a 5 weeks of 5th edition rules D&D (Feb 24 and March 3, 10, 17 and 24) with an experienced Dungeon Master. Each session will start at 4 PM and run for approximately 75 minutes.

Each Tuesday the program will alternate between Mandarin conversation and instruction led by Luis Deng. Learn to recognize 500 of the most commonly used Chinese characters. 

A basic knowledge of Chinese is required.

All ages storytime on Wednesdays! Registration is not needed but space is limited so first come first serve. Bring something soft to sit on.

Every other week artist Larry D'Amico leads an art class for adults with disabilities.

Registration required, seating is limited. 

Songs, books and bounces just for babies!

Bring your own blanket to sit on. We will meet in the Kid's program room.

An opportunity for people who already speak some Italian to practice and improve their skills in a friendly setting.

Come learn basic sewing skills with an experienced teacher. All experience levels welcome.

This is a continuation of our popular Visible Mending Series in 2025.

Attendees must attend the first session on 2/12 to participate— 

Special storytime for just 2 and 3 year-olds with their adult! (Please check our schedule for other storytimes available for children younger or older than 2 or 3).

Mah Jongg for players with knowledge of the game.

Come with your own group or be matched up with others.

Kits: The Library has 2 sets. Please bring a Mah Jongg set if you have one.

A graphic novel discussion group for 4th, 5th and 6th graders: read the book at home, then talk about it together, with snacks.  

Join us for a talk from Park Ranger Kevin W. Bryant to learn more about Douglass, and how his home came to be part of the National Parks System.
