  • Explore how color influences perception and mood in both visual art and writing.
  • Try color inspired free writing.
  • Create a personal color wheel.
  • Experiment with different color combinations to see how choices shape the tone and impact of creative work. 

Gabrielle Esposito holds a degree in Creative Writing from SUNY Geneseo. Her short stories have appeared in the Manhattanville Review, 34TH Parallel, Gandy Dancer, and Elsewhere. Her story The Way Home was a prizewinner in the 2023 Doro Boehme Fiction Editors’ Prize and was nominated for the 2024 Best American Short Stories anthology.
