Harriet Shenkman: Dylan Thomas wrote, “Life always offers you a second chance.” Harriet Shenkman’s collection “Re-Coupling” is about that second chance.
Harriet is the current Poet-in-Residence at Broadview Senior Living and the JCC of Mid-Westchester. She earned a Ph.D. from Fordham University, an M.Ed. from Duke University, and is a professor emerita at City University of New York. Her poetry awards include the Women’s National Book Association Annual Contest and the Women Who Write International Poetry Contest. Her work has appeared in Westchester Review, The Alexandria Quarterly and more.
Robert Edward Miss: His life's passion has been poetry and storytelling with his first volume, "Fever Dreams" in 2015 followed by "Prospero's Grove in 2021. Rob's poetry has appeared in the Crosswinds Poetry Journal, Austin International Poetry Festival, Spirit of Women and more. Rob sees his work as experiential poetry. He points out that "all my poems are true, they spring from the recollections and emotions of direct experiences.
