Review "At the heart of the novel is Elizabeth navigating her way through the theatrical world she loves... Douglas beautifully captures the mood and atmosphere of Manhattan and the Upper East Side, where Elizabeth lives, and elegant depictions of her sojourns to England, France and Algiers... Leisha Douglas has a gift for humanizing her characters in a world where you can hear a heartbeat on almost every page of this compelling novel." Kevin Pilkington, Author of Taking On Secrets
