The Librarians chronicles Texas lawmakers’ efforts to review and restrict library materials, placing librarians on the frontlines of a national debate. Across the country, librarians and communities are grappling with challenges to collection standards, particularly around race-related and LGBTQIA+ content. Drawing on historical context, The Librarians invites viewers to consider the broader implications for education, access to information, and public life.
