Speaker:

Bruna Santos, Bruna Santos heads the Brazil Institute at the Wilson Center. Director Santos previously served as vice president and innovation director of the National School of Public Administration in Brazil and as a director of Comunitas, a civil society organization dedicated to promoting social development in Brazil. She has worked as a private sector market analyst in Beijing, China, where she also founded a public relations firm. Bruna Santos has been an Eisenhower Fellow and has served as adjunct professor at Columbia University. We have asked Bruna Santos to speak to us about the political landscape in Brazil and the challenges facing the country following the election of President Lula in January 2023.
