Colors in Nature!
From camouflage to warning colors, animals use their patterns and hues to help them survive. Meet some small sleek (and some furry) live animals from the Stamford Museum and Nature Center that use color in different ways, and test yourself with some great animal camouflage, and discover the science of color in nature.

All attending must register (both children and adults!). Seats are limited. We will not have a waitlist but we will have a stand-by line in the Kids Room starting at 5:30 (check in at the Kids Desk).

Theater doors will open at 5:50. If you have not arrived by 6:05 PM your spot may be given to someone on the standby line.

This program is supported by the Joan Schlanger Memorial Fund. Joan Schlanger was a dedicated supporter of the library and a member of our board, and she cared a great deal about making sure that kids have lots of opportunities to read and learn about nature and our environment.
