Chappaqua Central School District Bond Proposal

The Chappaqua Central School District is one of a few districts in New York State that is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a public library. The library site opened in 1978 and not much has changed structurally since.

  • New adult quiet area and meeting rooms for individuals and groups
  • New family {ADA) bathrooms to accommodate care-givers and strollers
  • New family {ADA) bathrooms to accommodate care-givers and strollers
  • New childrens area: seating for 1st-4th grade study/research and child-height shelving
  • New enclosed teen zone to enhance learning and activities, and to mitigate noise
  • New cafe for patron use and additional meeting/activity space
  • More instructional space for one-to-one computer lessons and programs
  • Other building upgrades and furnishings

Curbside pickup seven days a week. 

Monday - Thursday 10:00AM to 7:30PM
Friday 10:00AM to 5:30PM
Saturday 10:00AM to 4:30PM
Sunday - 1:00PM to 5:00PM
