MOTHER GOOSE IN MINIATURE DISPLAY

Come see Humpty Dumpty, Old Mother Hubbard and other favorite Mother Goose characters in this delightful display. Created by Carole and Neal Pruzan, these miniature vignettes will be at the Library throughout February.

 

FREE CAREER AND EDUCATIONAL COUNSELING AT THE CHAPPAQUA LIBRARY

The Chappaqua Public Library, in conjunction with WEBS Career and Education Counseling Service, is offering a free eight-week seminar for adults this winter called: Take Charge! Career/Life Planning Over 50. Its purpose is to help adults over 50 assess themselves and plan a direction for the next stage of life. Options that will be considered include part-time or full-time work, volunteerism, entrepreneurial ventures, and learning and leisure opportunities.  The nineteen-hour seminar consists of an orientation session, eight group sessions and one individual session with a career counselor.  Those who wish to attend the program must call WEBS at 674-3612 on or after January 9th to register. Places will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Take a look at Learning Express, an interactive online database with practice tests and tutorials designed to help students and adult learners. Learning Express provides immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and individualized analysis of results.
