LOOKING FOR A GOOD READ THIS SUMMER?

summerreads

What books have you read lately that you have particularly enjoyed? We’re asking library users to make lists of their favorite beach/vacation reads and drop them in a special box near the daily newspapers. We’ll put together a display of “Sizzling Summer Reads”-- a ready supply of page-turners to keep you occupied during July and August. Forms are at the library, or Click here for the recommendation form.

VACATIONING CLOSE TO HOME

The library has lots of great guidebooks to destinations not too far from Westchester, so if you have a few free days and want to explore something new, check out some of these titles:

BOOK SALE A HUGE SUCCESS!

This year’s book sale was bigger than ever, and made more money than ever—over $17,000.00! Our thanks and gratitude to the multitudes of workers and other participants who made this magic happen. Most of all, we thank the Friends of the Chappaqua Library, the group which sponsors and organizes this annual event. Because of the Friends’ generosity and efforts, the library is able to offer many programs and materials that we could not otherwise afford. Help support this group by becoming a member—application forms are available on the http://www.chappaqualibrary.org/ website.
