The Mission of the Friends
"...to encourage, receive and administer gifts for... special items or projects not covered in the library's operating budget... and to support the library in developing its services and facilities..."
The Friends meet monthly to plan programs, prepare for the annual book sale and investigate sources of funding. Meetings are held in the Chappaqua Library, and the public is invited to attend. Our primary sources of income are the annual June used book sale, fund-raising events, special donations, membership dues, and a fall membership drive.
The Chappaqua Public Library is at 195 S. Greeley Ave., Chappaqua, NY 10514. To reach the friends, please call the library at (914)-238-4779, and ask for reference (Option 2), or e-mail them at chafriends@westchesterlibraries.org.
