Learning Center
The Learning Center collection focuses on learning and obstacles to learning for people of all ages.
Topics include neurodiversity, mental health and practices and therapies. Featured topics include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Parenting.
In the collection are books that discuss Anxiety, Depression, Dyslexia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and more.
The collection includes picture books and juvenile fiction for parents to share with children to help children understand and cope with challenges they may be facing or that loved ones or friends may be experiencing.
These books are available to all for in-library use, and available to check out by Westchester Library System library card holders.
