A SOURCE FOR E-BOOKS: FREADING
FREADING is easy to use, and has its own apps for the iPad and iPhone, as well as the Android phones and tablets. It is also compatible with the Kindle Fire, Nook, and Kobo devices.

Chappaqua Library cardholders now have access to Freegal, a database that lets you download music onto any MP3 player, including iPods, and can be loaded onto iTunes. It is compatible with both PCs and Macs.
Here’s how it works:
Sign onto the Freegal site with your library barcode number.
Browse the Artist A-Z list or the various genre lists, and find a song you like by listening to a sample clip.
Download up to three songs per week.
The library has a limited number of downloads per week, so patrons may occasionally need to wait for this service. If this is the case, patrons can manage future downloads with “MyWishlist,” which is located in the upper right hand corner of the site. We will do everything we can, however, to reduce the waiting periods.
