Statement on Diversity

Board of Trustees Statement on Diversity

The Chappaqua Library Board stands in solidarity with the diverse members of our community. In response to our community, the Library will be reviewing its collection and all other services we offer to ensure diversity. We will listen and act upon suggestions for new books, ebooks, music, book groups, discussion groups, programs and author talks from all members of the community. The Library aims to be proactive in its selection of materials, programs and discussion groups to celebrate diversity and educate our community.
The Chappaqua Library believes that our library should be a safe haven for all members of our community, and we will not tolerate microaggressions or any other behavior that makes any of our patrons feel unsafe, unwelcome or unheard.

Due to Covid-19, service hours may change without notice. If in doubt, call ahead.

The Chappaqua Library is open for public in-person browsing.
